Only on your phone. We never receive it, so we can't recover it if the phone is lost or the app is deleted. Keep a backup using one of the options below.

• Daily backup on the phone (on by default): keeps the last 7 days and 4 weeks. Protects against mistakes, not against losing the phone.
• Google Drive (recommended): connect your Google account and the app backs up automatically to a private folder in your own Drive, keeping the last 10 copies.
• Dropbox: every change is copied to your own Dropbox automatically.
• Back up and share: send a backup file to email, WhatsApp or anywhere you like.
• iPhone: your iCloud backup of the phone normally includes the app's data too.

To restore, open the backup file with Money Map, or go to Settings → Backup & Restore. Your current data is kept so you can undo.

Connect the same Google Drive or Dropbox account on the new phone and restore from it, or open the backup file you exported.

Automatic: in the Shortcuts app, open Automation → + → Message. Set Message Contains to EGP, choose Run Immediately, then Next. Tap New Blank Automation, search for Money Map and choose Add Bank Message, then Done. Each bank SMS now waits in Bank Messages when you open the app.

By hand: get the Money Map shortcut, then in Messages long-press a bank SMS → Share → Money Map – Bank SMS.

On Android, bank SMS are read automatically in the version from our website.

Money Map reads the wording of the message rather than one bank's template, so it understands most Egyptian bank SMS in English and Arabic: purchases, transfers, InstaPay, salary and card payments. It's tested with ADCB, CIB, HSBC and ABK messages.

If a message from your bank isn't understood, email us a copy with the account and card numbers hidden, and we'll add it.

Tap Refresh on the investment account. EGX prices are about 15 minutes behind the market, and you can always set a price yourself.

Pro is bought through the App Store or Google Play. To change plan or cancel, open the Pro screen in the app and tap Manage Subscription, or go to your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
